- Fegan's smokehouse is a small complex of buildings and boardwalks, dedicated to the curing and preservation of meats, fishes, and cheeses. Racks for drying fish and other meats are arranged between the smaller buildings, and family houses. They provide services to the entire clanhold, for a portion of the produce.

Sand Tra, Torcastan Coast, Plains of Tekara
- The smokehouses are situated on the southern bank of the Malys River at the edge of the Malys Estuary.

- Fegan's Smokehouse provides a variety of preserved via salting, pickling, smoking, or drying. Prepared from raw ingredients, usually for a portion of the produce.
- Salt
- Raw bulk salt is also available for personal use.

- Fegan - The current patriarch of his family, Fegan carries on the family trade as salters and has trained his own children in the profession in kind.

- Fegan's family assists with the daily operation of the smoke and salt shop, including the panning for salt at the estuary sites.
