History

Linas was actually not the head of his family at the time of the high council's formation, but as his father was considered to be on his deathbed Linas was clan head in all but name. His relative youth was despised by his older council mates, because, in part, it meant he would have a longer stay in the seat than they, and therefore could enact changes after they had passed on. Linas served until his 72nd sol. He is probably remembered best for his efforts to enforce a purity act to certify Aralian wines to meet certain quality standards or be unsaleable within or outside Aralia.

It is hinted that he may have preferred the company of both men and women. Which was not in an of itself a problem, as he clearly produced heirs. His wife was considered a rather sad figure, presumably due to a lack of attention from her husband.
