Appearance

Gofeegdyl's body is stocky but long, with dark bluish black scales, and with speckles of silver. His head lacks adornment, and he has a short crest of spikes along his spine. His tail ends in a club-like double knob.

Personality

Gofeegdyl is a loner amongst even his kind. This is due mostly to his internalised belief that he has been cursed to such an existence, and efforts to form relationships with other sapient beings will always fail in fear and hatred. While untrue, this belief drives his existence, to only venturing forth under the cover of darkness, and avoiding encounters with larger groups. While not shunned by his own kind, Gofeegdyl chooses to avoid other dragons as well.

History

Gofeegdyl has been a presence on the savanna for more than three centuries. He has taken to a nocturnal existence, and due to his colouration often soars unseen against the night sky, especially on moonless nights. Given his reclusive nature, Gofeegdyl is but a legend to the Sildaryn of the savanna. While they seldom see him, evidence of his depredations have been found in the light of day, and whispers of his night-time presence bring cautious regard for his might and power.
