Iskal is a tall man with average complexion and shoulder length blonde hair. He has grey eyes and wears a near perpetual mirthful expression. He keeps his face clean shaven. He has adopted the clothing of the Malys, but still carries the axe and longknife typical of an Iskandean sailor.

Personality

Iskal is a man who strongly believes in fate, and generally lives his life in a serendipitous calm. His near death and rescue only further cemented this worldview. Iskal is not particularly religious, but allows others to have their faith in gods or goddesses without judgement. He is clever and quite knowledgeable in the ways of a seafarer, having crossed the Torcastan Sea from the islands of his birth several times before.

History

Iskal was a sailor aboard an Iskandean merchant ship which ran aground of the coast. Found adrift and near death by some local Malys fishermen, he settled amongst his new friends. He currently works aboard the Rising Moons, a vessel captained by the Malys woman Leku, as her first mate.
