Areiasteia Waejirus is in a state of near perpetual dreaming. During her lucid and waking moments she speaks as though distant from her audience. She speaks in the third person and often doesn't use names when referring to others. She may seem unaware of her surroundings at times, but has remarkable clarity of thought and memory. She treats others kindly and has not been known to show anger.

History

Areiasteia Waejirus is the firstborn daughter of the high Noble prince of Asuradur. She was a precocious child, who often told people secrets only they should know. While this behaviour was dismissed as part of her divinity it did cause some unsettling responses from various persons. She was raised in the palace and became involved with the temple of Balfagor at an early age due to her exceptional talent for perceiving and actually joining the dreams of others.

Despite her semi-divine ancestry, she was taught like any other acolyte of the faith, and quickly rose through the temple ranks on merit, rather than social status. At the age of forty one sols, she was declared pontiff.

Presently, at the age of seventy-five sols, she is to be found is a dream like trance for most of her waking moments, actively entering, observing and sometime participating in the dreams of various city denizens. During her brief waking moments, she shares what she has experienced with the attendant cardinals of the faith, who then interpret what information they can from her accounts. Given the amount of personal information she can access about individuals, the city keeps few secrets. However, they are veiled behind dream imagery and layers of re-interpretation by the clergy whom she shares the knowledge with.

Psionics

Areiasteia is an incredibly gifted psychic, with talents in the paths of phatasm, psyche, and somatics. It is a well guarded secret that she has spawned as many as three tulpas during he time as the head of the temple. The fate of her dark twins is unknown to all but a few persons.
