Overview
- Mistaken for manifest demons due their similarity of appearance, Ventrax are rare to the point of myth.
Origins
- Their origins are lost to time but they predate the God Wars, and some believe they are the mortal children of demons.

- Pale through dark grey.

- Ventrax have large ovoid eyes, without lids, but do have a nictating membranes similar to some birds and reptiles.
- Body
- The general appearance of a ventrax is a lean biped, with patagia flaps from ankle to wrist, three fingered hands and feet, and a long prehensile tail. Their heads are smooth and nearly featureless, having small mouths, ear holes, and simple slits for noses. They seldom wear clothing, usually robes, cloaks, or shawls, and may wear jewelry in the form of wrist cuffs, neck bands, or circlets upon their brows.

Castes
- The ventrax are organized into three castes, but this is primarily an internal psychological distinction, being more about roles and behaviour within their culture, and not outwardly visible.
Mind Web
- All Ventrax are attuned to a shared psychic link when in physical proximity to others of their kind. This manifests as a common shared thought-space, wherein any Ventrax in the link can project thoughts and emotions to the rest of the members.
