History
- Founded
- 247 YG / 475 WR
- The site of Greyfort was used as a stopping point for travellers and caravans for many centuries. Drolac from nearby villages would occasionally visit the site to trade with Waejiran and Corinthean merchants passing through he mountains. Eventually a few settled at the site in more permanent homes and a village was born. To date thirty five families call grey fort their home. The populous is mostly Drolac farmers and hunters, with a few crafters, and even a couple of foreign tradespersons who have established shops in the village.
- The village gets its name from the low stone walls which encircle the village. The walls are more of a high fence than actual defensive fortifications, but there are a few watch towers along the perimeter and a small gate house that allows entry and egress.
- A small creek has been diverted to the village via a crude stone aquaduct to provide a supply of fresh water and power to the local sawmill.
