About
- Names
- Sun Piper Hinta
- The Sun Piper Hinta is a migratory band of Sildaryn who dwell within Sildara. They take their name from a particular species of warbling lizard common to the forest; the Sun Piper.
Location
- Sildara
- Migrating around their year long route, the Sun Piper Hinta varies its location across twelve stopping points. Each a suitable location for a small village, providing opportunities to forage and collect supplies required by the bands membership. The hinta will stay at each site for approximately one month before moving on to avoid exhausting the local ecology.

Camps
- The twelve camps the Sun Piper Hinta visits each have specific features or unique resources making them points of interest to the hinta:
- New Year Camp
- The last camp of winter and the first camp of spring, a starting point for the migration cycle shared with a neighbouring group, the Moon Star Hinta, who visit this site in midsummer.
- Spring Tomka Camp
- A trio of Tomka dwell at this campsite, meeting new cubs makes for a welcome reunion during the annual migration.
- Deep Falls Camp
- This camp is located adjacent to a great waterfall.
- Tree Bridge Camp
- A great fallen tree spans a river gorge at this site.
- Stone Knap Camp
- This camp provides a readily available source of flint and amber. It is shared with one other group, the Yellow Knife Hinta, who visit in early autumn.
- Summer Fruit Camp
- A well tended grove of annually fruiting trees is located here. The Sun Piper Hinta stays long enough to harvest and preserve the fruits that flourish at this time of year.
- Midsummer Camp
- This camp is visited at the height of summer.
- Grove Camp
- This site contains a sacred grove. This is where the Sun Piper Hinta hangs their masks on the tree of faces.
- Clay Camp
- This site provides a ready source of clay for pottery and other uses. Here the Sun Piper Hinta stops to repair and replace cooking vessels, and other items.
- Lake Camp
- This camp is on the shores of [[<Lake Lake>]], at the mouth of the [[<river river>]]. While not co-located, both the White Tomka Hinta and Mossfoot Hinta have camps on the same lake. However, they visit during different months of the year. An island near the lake's centre serves as a communal cache and trade site.
- Winter Camp
- The southernmost camp of the Sun Piper Hinta's circuit.
- Tower Camp
- The ruins of a crumbling stone tower dominate this site. The Sun Piper Hinta has no oral history regarding the origin of the structure, as it predates their arrival in the area.
