Appearance: Tavon is a short muscular man, well tanned from his time in the sun. He sports a bald head and wears his beard as a single braided goatee. He is missing the thumb and index finger of his left hand. He dresses in a silk shirt, vest and sash, over loose fitting pants and tall tooled leather boots. About his neck on a silver chain hangs the twin crescent symbol of the goddess. He carries no less than four long knives tucked about his waist, and often smokes a clay pipe sculpted to resemble a mermaid.

History: Tavon has sailed with Ak'har Salo since before the fateful voyage which had left them both permanently disfigured by Seaman's Rot. They were lucky, but also did some self administered treatment during their fateful voyage. Part of Ak'hars face, and most of Tavon's left hand were lost in this manner, they also salted the treated areas, which turned out to be a workable surrogate for proper antibiotics. There have been no further outbreaks of the rot aboard the Silver Reefling, whether this is due to luck, diligence on part of the crew, or the Goddess' blessing is open for debate. Tavon was promoted to first mate, as the only other survivor of the cursed voyage of the Silver Reefling, and continues to serve under Captain Salo.
