- Water Beneath Sand has an alien mind and cannot communicate with words in any spoken language. As much as it can express emotions it is resigned to its current circumstance. It is neither unhappy nor angry with its captive state, but understands that it lacks freedom, and given the chance to escape and return to the spiritual plane it would do so without much hesitation.
