Hunted by Iskandean fishermen these aquatic reptiles are aggressive predators of schooling fish upon which the local economy depends.

Size
adults average a length of 2-3 meters (6-10 feet), and can mass upwards of 500 kg (1100 pounds).
Appearance
They swim using their four fore-limb flippers, hind limbs ending in webbed feet, and powerful flat tail. They are capable of limited movement on land, using their ability to leap from the water to great effect when needed. Their mottled appearance lends some camouflage while stalking prey fish, before attacking with a savage tearing bite.

Diet
Shaloki are carnivores exhibiting coordinated hunting in pods. They primarily prey upon schooling fish, but are also known to hunt larger marine life.

Resources
Shaloki meat is edible. Their livers are considered a delicacy in Iskander, and are eaten raw cut into thin strips, skewered, and rolled in sea salt.
