- An odd grass species, which does not grow well in regular soil. Instead this plant grows best in crevices and cracks of rocks, or on cliff faces. Found in arid conditions this grass is one of the few plants which can tolerate high altitudes and barren landscapes.It is sometimes used as a edible herb in a pinch and can be used in general tonics.
