Description
A nettle more typical of the family, this 1-2 meter plant has tiny hair-like structures along the margins of its leaves. These cause extremely itchy welts which can develop into full blisters with sufficient exposure. The pink spray of tiny flowers is the only truly safe part of the plant to handle.
