Description: The Olineitar are members of the temple of Neithur in Waejir who investigate rumours of and exterminate problematic undead within the bounds of the empire. Their holy mandate is to release trapped souls so they might return to Neithur.; Trained in small unit tactics, use of weapons, and rituals specific to their profession, these priests and priestesses serve a vital role in maintaining the natural order of a soul's journey.

Founder: Tiatiu Neithuru
Founding: In 117 WR an outbreak of Neitlumar occurred in the town of Lepadur in Western Waejir. The temple of Neithur managed to suppress the outbreak, and prevent it from spreading beyond the local area. At its end approximately two and half thousand people had succumbed to the disease. The town was put to the torch, and the survivors relocated to other settlements in the region. The much degraded ruins of the town still remain as Brupadun; a place of ill omen, presumed to be haunted, and avoided. Following this event, the Temple of Neithur, after much prompting from the priestess Tiatiu Neithuru, a witness to the massacre, decided that a prepared response for future occurrences would be a good thing to maintain in readiness, thus the holy fighting order was established.

Present Day: After five centuries, the order is wide spread. Every Temple of Neithur maintains a dozen or more members trained as olineitar. A few smaller towns which lack a proper temple to Neithur still have a olineitar presence, who would call for reinforcements from larger settlements, or local recruits, after initial investigations of reported undead.
