It wasn't my place to question the reasons for their removal, and I still don't. I was simply to ensure they never sat on council again. How that was achieved was left up to me. - Katya The Three Fingered

History
Katya the Three Fingered is a thief and devotee of the fine art of acquisition. She has an outstanding warrant for her arrest in several Aralian towns near the Silver Pass. She was trained at her home temple, to use stealth and deception to serve the interests of her goddess. Sent out into the world to remove certain wealthy persons from a town council. Accused of murder and stealing a horse to escape got her labelled as a horse thief, as the families covered up the assassinations. However they are the one's who are offering the large bounty on her head, so Katya is not sure what else she may have been accused of stealing. The current reward for her capture exceeds the price of a dozen such horses.
The temple as she calls it, is a small group of worshippers, who meet in little more than a three room basement hidden beneath a shop.
If asked about her missing fingers, she relates that she has twice survived a near death experience by sacrificing a finger to her goddess, Mintaka. She remarks that she has nine more lives before the end; most folks can't tell if she's joking or not.
