History

Cultural
Golden Cedar are rare to the point of being near mythical. Rumours of these trees circulate in Kythus with some believing that the leaves are sheathed with real gold. however, due mostly to the rarity of the tree, this has not been proven.
Religious
Golden Cedar held a particular significance in some of the early religious beliefs of the peoples in the regions of Kythus and Layor.
