Tavon put his ear to the planks.
Loudest was the lapping of waves against the wood. Beneath that was rumble of barrels being loaded.
There was something else below the other sounds, he sensed a sawing, crunching barely above a whisper.
"Captain! We've got scuttle worms in the port side!"
