Appearance

Kolm is has blue-grey eyes, shaggy blonde hair, and keeps his face clean-shaven. He is quite tanned from his days at sea. He dresses in short legged pants, a loose silk shirt, and goes barefoot like most Ru-Pani. He lost the last two bones of his left pinkie-finger to a rather territorial reefmaw.

Personality

Kolm is a friendly and patient man, who enjoy the simple-things in life. Some think him a little eccentric due to his paternal attitude towards Caelac, but in his vu s'vin she is accepted as any other person would be.

History

Kolm is a reef diver of the Ru-Pani. He collects shell-fish, coral, and sponges. He has some talent as a jeweller, making pretty baubles from some of his collection, which he trades when in port, or meeting another Ru-Pani vu s'vin at sea.

Kolm found Caelac as an orphaned hatchling still struggling to escape her shell one day, and has cared for her ever since. Treated as a pet at first, Kolm now sees her as more of a daughter, despite the differences in species. Kolm even gifted Caelac with a bangle on her 6th hatching day to signify her adult hood in the eyes of the Ru-Pani.
