Appearance

Ulan still has the fit body of a younger man, with grey hair and brown eyes. Having suffered a fall from some high rocks as a child, his right arm was broken and healed in a bad angle, making it nearly useless. Additionally his face is misshapen from the same fall, making his countenance unappealing to most. Ulan dresses in woolen garments, and uses a stout walking stick for support from time to time.

Personality

Ulan is a genial and wise man. He is very knowledgeable about the husbandry of teica, and is somewhat of the local expert on several other livestock species as well. Generally easy to get along with, he gives most people a chance to prove themselves before passing judgement. However, he can become obstinate when he feels personally slighted.

History

Ulan is a farmer who owns a significant herd of teica, producing a good quantity of wool for domestic use by the clan. Ulan's youngest son left with the farmer Gitun to visit the tabrani town of Aehe-Fafa a few years ago, and never returned. Ulan has held a grudge against Gitun ever since, blaming him for putting the idea of an exciting life outside of the clanhold into his son's head.
