At its end approximately two and half thousand people had succumbed to the disease. The town was put to the torch, and the survivors relocated to other settlements in the region. The much degraded ruins of the town still remain as Brupadun; a place of ill omen, presumed to be haunted, and avoided. Following this event, the Temple of Neithur decided that a prepared response for future occurrences would be a good thing to maintain in readiness, thus the holy fighting order was established.
