Appearance

Leumir is a fit and muscular man. His skin is deeply tanned from exposure to the sun, and he bears several deep scars along his back and left shoulder. His hair is a deep blue-black and kept tied back in a ponytail. He has brown eyes that give him a sleepy squinted expression. He dresses for the weather, and local foliage demands a variety of texture and colours for camouflage. His legs are protected by thick hide wraps, and he regularly carries his bow, a pair of spears and a long knife.

Personality

Leumir is a deeply contemplative and cautious man. While he does takes risks as part of his professional duties, he balances such with a great deal of prudence. Ever vigilant, Leumir is known to react to subtle cues others may never notice. His exceptional perception has saved more than one member of his hinta throughout the years, and he has earned the respect of his elders for such.

History

Leumir is a Sildaryn ranger, who took up the profession a few years after his younger brother, Tanpala. He regularly patrols the wilds around the hinta's various stopping points, and is also responsible for guiding his hinta along their migration circuit. As such Leumir has become quite knowledgeable about threats and resources found in a variety of biomes. The Moonpetal Hinta traverses a circuit at the southern margin of the great forest of Sildara, and spend about two thirds of their annual cycle in the savannah.
