Appearance

Sawrüna is a diminutive young man with sandy blonde hair and pale blue eyes. He has cauliflower ear on his right side. He dresses in simple woollen clothes, and leather tunic, with low boots.

Personality

Sawrüna lacks self-esteem due to a childhood of abuse from his father. He is easily impressed by clever or witty people, and is much more of a follower than a leader. He has a natural rapport with the hunting cats he trains for his uncle Nadölödna, and when dealing with animals in general shows a confidence he lacks around people.

Sawrüna also holds a deep mistrust of magic to the point of moderate phobia. He's doesn't entirely believe his father when told that his small size is from some faerie curse laid upon his mother, however his siblings are all of a more normal stature, so he worries that there may be some truth to the claim.

History

Sawrüna was born the eldest of five children, but was always a small boy, and this seemed to bring disfavour from his father, who would regularly beat the lad over small things, and sometimes nothing. Sawrüna took this in stride, but when he had the opportunity to work for his uncle as animal trainer jumped at the chance to escape his father's reach. Under his uncle's instruction Sawrüna learned to breed and train hunting cats employed by locals for tracking small game. He recently just finished his apprenticeship, and is unsure what the future holds.
