I'vau held the glass of liquid to the light, and observed its colour.
"Dark amber".
Next he swirled the contents gently, and raised the opening to his nose.
"Coppery scent".
Thirdly he took a small sip, a quick taste, and spat.
"Sweet. Diagnosis?" he asked his apprentice.
"Kiqao's complaint."
"Correct."
