The dam is located just south of the village proper in the course of the local stream.

History

In 310 YG, a small stone dam was built across the local stream to form a millpond that powers the local sawmill. It also has a simple stone aqueduct which diverts some fresh water into the village. The millpond is also used by children of the village as a swimming and bathing location during the warm seasons.
