Cat (fifty word fantasy)

The cat flew up in a slow arc. The competitors bolted after it, jostling for position before leaping upwards as one. A scrum ensued, cat caught amongst a dozen legs. Once free, it was scooped up by a runner who danced it, ball and tail, back to the basket.
