Ozaryngarb slept and dreamt, coiled about her unhatched children. Thus they had slumbered for years, until the young minds awoke and called to their mother.
Cracking their shells from within, they crawled forth, wet and mewling.
In another decade they would depart their mother's care, to seek their own territories.
