Appearance

Lyyr is a tall blonde man with blue eyes. He wears his hair tied back in a ponytail, and keeps a full beard. He has taken to dressing like the locals in a green wool tunic and leggings, and wears leather bracers decorated with the finger bones of his grandfather.

Personality

Lyyr is a man of few words who takes pride in his culture. He holds his sense of honor as sacred as his own ancestors, and feels he owes a life debt to the fishermen whom saved him from the sea. Despite his near death experience, Lyyr will still sail and fish the waters near the village.

History

Lyyr was a fisherman of the Layor who was rescued following a shipwreck off the coast of Kythus in 395 YG. He settled in the village from where his rescuers hailed. He subsequently turned innkeeper to provide a regular place for such men of the water to stay, and his inn, the Northmen's Hall, is popular with foreign sailors and fishermen. His door is always open for any fellow Layor whom visit.
