We venture out into the summer rains seeking a common weed.
The dull green-brown leaves of the aptly named mud tongue neither looks nor tastes appetizing, this discourages foraging by most animals. However the flowers are good medicine for treating allergies or sprains.
The taste will betray, such bitter irony.
