Light (fifty word fantasy)

He awoke in a damp blackness feeling cold and wet stone beneath his hands. He discovered there was light to be found, a faint green glow, as exploring hands disturbed the film of slime on the rocks.

Upon standing he discovered a trail of footprints, which had too few toes.
