Blood Snow / Atweëtö

One night in Kythus (623 YG) it snowed, leaving a layer of blood red snow covering everything. It didn't last long as the milder spring weather soon turned to rain and it melted away as snows do. This was taken as a portent of some coming calamity. The King Cönokna fell in battle against the pëlöryk tribes later that year. Since that time people have lived in fear of future blood-snow.
