An early harvesting apple tree that produces tasty and popular fruit of a deep red colour. The flowers of this apple, will reappear in the fall, after the fruit has been picked, and are used for their pleasant fragrance. The wood of this tree has a deodorant quality, and will be burned in hearth-fires to remove foul smells from a house.
