Appearance
Nat-Naqap is an obese man, with prominent jowls, and a triple chin. His head sports a thin band of white hair, and he keep his face clean shaven. His eyes are nearly completely blind from cataracts. His hands are wracked with arthritis, and he walks slowly needing frequent rests. He dresses in the brown robes of his position, accented with red trim indicative of his rank within the church. He is never seen without a walking staff, and is regularly accompanied by a young church lad whom carries a folding stool, and scribe's satchel.

Personality

Nat-Nebe has lost some of his faith in his later years and while dedicated to his role within the church, doesn't keep himself living a sin free life. He is a glutton, as noted by his massive girth and rolls of fat. He also has taken a sexual interest in his young aide. While homosexuality is not a sin in the faith, the abuse of a subordinate for one's own carnal pleasure certainly is. Nat-Nebe no longer believes that there is an afterlife as preached by the church, so he feels he can take his own rewards for keeping his faith through all his years. This shift in his attitude has been overlooked, by his church peers, mostly because he keeps it in private. Despite his years and decline in his physical health, Nat-Nebe still has a keen intellect and an excellent memory for facts and details.

History
Nat-Nebe joined the church of Ryla as the second son of a nobleman at the age of sixteen. He served for some decades as a priest in Qima-Qiry, the town of his birth, before retiring to become a monk in the capitol. His health is failing him in his old age, and he can no longer read, or write due to his vision impairment and arthritic hands. As such he is accompanied by Isori-Lite, a young scribe, whom serves as his eyes and hands in such matters. The youth also serves as a personal nurse, assisting the older monk with daily tasks, and providing ongoing medical care as required.
Church Historian
Nat-Naqap is a monk serving the church of Ryla as an archivist in the capitol. He maintains the churches records of all royal decrees, and other acts. The church archives include all events of note, and contain a nearly complete record of the Tabrani Monarchy's history.
