He's a religious man, who served the legions honorably, before retiring to raise his family. His patron Goddess is Vorsha, goddess of knowledge, invention, puzzles, secrets and mystery. As a follower of the scholar's Goddess he believes that knowledge and rational thought are key to understanding the world, and ones role in life.

Before his son's birth he was a devoted husband, and soldier, balancing loyalty to his Empire and his spouse. After his son was born he realized he could not continue as a soldier for fear of leaving his family without a provider and protector.

Ukios unfortunately is a passionate man, he seeks the pleasure of loving family relationships, and will occasionally behave irrationally in pursuit or defence of this.
