Common Names: Spice Apple / Ahai Tint (Waejir)
Classification: Tree
Description: A small apple similar to sour apples in appearance and size. The fruit of this tree is however acrid and astringent, causing a flushed appearance if eaten. This variety of apple does find use in cider though, adding a distinct hot flavour to the drink.
