According to legend the Vocanei were gifted to the [[Treahni (people)|Treahni]] by the gods in the fabled city of [[Vocadun]], which now lays as forgotten ruins in the southern [[Waejiran Desert]]. Some scholars not similarities between the Waejiran vocanei and the savage [[Pëlöryk (people)|Pëlöryk]] found elsewhere suggesting a common ancestor species.
