History

Balatyna came to the hamlet of Jël a few years ago. When the previous priest fell ill, he took over duties tending to the souls of the hamlet. Given his skills as a speaker, Balatyna became well liked and trusted by the parish. Lacking a proper chapel, he continues to provide religious services out of the Jetty, a local tavern. When not filling the role as a spiritual counsellor, Balatyna serves as the tavern's brewer. His product is mediocre at best.

Affair of the Heart

Balatyna has fallen in love with the tavernkeeper's wife, Cëläva. The pair have become secret lovers, and Balatyna is the father of her infant son [[]]. Balatyna knows of the abuse her husband does to Cëläva, but has been unable to bring himself to fully remove the problem.
