- History
- Lyyr was a fisherman of the Layor who was rescued following a shipwreck off the coast of Kythus in 395 YG. He settled in the village from where his rescuers hailed. He subsequently turned innkeeper to provide a regular place for such men of the water to stay, and his inn, the Northmen's Hall, is popular with foreign sailors and fishermen. His door is always open for any fellow Layor whom visit.
