Description

The Troll Jaw are a band of forest dwelling Great Pëlöryk. They are named after the totemic symbol and prize weapon of their current leader, a great axe formed from the split jawbones of an alleged forest troll.

Location

The Troll Jaw maintain a warren formed out of a series of caves connected to a river washed gorge, in the forests north of Tabras. The area they reside in is contested with several tribes of the Anatu.

History

The Troll Jaw band has held their territory for more than sixty years. Their numbers have been kept in check largely through attrition and in-fighting within the band, however with a new, young and powerful chieftain having taken over, they might find the stability to grow in population and expand their range into neighbouring territory of both the Anatu and other Pëlöryk.

Troll Jaw - A great axe crafted from the split mandible of some great beast. Heetar claims to have killed a troll and used its jaw to make a weapon powerful enough to slay the mightiest of opponents. Proven in combat against the tribe's former chieftain, the weapon is fearsome and symbol of the current chieftain's strength.

Heetar became leader of the band after defeating his father Kavab in single combat. Aided by his formidable weapon, an axe fashioned from the toothed jaws of a great beast.
