- This plant is often mistaken for the domesticated Blood Berry. The major difference being the Blister Berry’s fuzzy hairs along its leaves and stems. These cause a burning irritation which will raise small blisters on exposed skin with sufficient exposure. The berries themselves are harsh and strongly acidic.
