- The term for a flotilla of Ru-Pani is vu s'vin - boat village, which is an accurate description of their collective lifestyle. A vu s'vin is a flotilla composed of many vessels of mixed size and design, which essentially act as small villages. Farmers, fishermen, hunters, tradespeople, and their families all live and travel together as a community on the move.
