About

Name
Nina-Waa
Other Names
Nina-Waa - Dragon Spine (Tabras)
Type
Mountain Ridge
The Nina-Waa is a ridge of Basalt that forms a series of blade-like peaks along ancient fault-line in central Tabras.

Location

Tabras
The ridge forms an East-to-West line bisecting the road between the Tabrani towns of Fafa-Hie to the north and Qima-Qiry to the south. The ridge and road meet approximately one-third of the way, and is closer to the southern end.

Settlements

Only a few villages are located adjacent to the ridge, none of which are significant.

Features

The series of peaks form a ridge approximately twenty three kilometers in length, with forty two distinct peaks. The highest peak rises 463 meters above the local terrain, which is otherwise flat and level prairie land. A handful of trails cross the ridge at gaps between some of the lower peaks, and a singular tunnel has been hewn through the middle to accommodate a proper road linking the Tabrani towns of Fafa-Hie and Qima-Qiry.

History

Legends say the Nina-Waa is the exposed back bones from the skeleton of a great dragon, long since petrified and eroded by time and the elements.
