- Eridriapadur was founded from the original village settlement of the noble family which continues to rule over the town. The fertile gentle hills have proven excellent for growing the dusky plums and other fruits common to the region. Local farms produce a variety of foodstuff, and the seasonal plum harvest draws in migrant labour from the surrounding villages. The town also holds a plum festival every autumn at the conclusion of the harvest.
