History

Nypir Tevo is the head of the Rylan church and counterpart to the Peoluan Pontiff (the sister branch of the faith). He resides in the holy quarter of the city of Pianara in Tabras.

His duties are largely ceremonial, but when important matters of church doctrine cannot be resolved at a lower tier within the faithful, then he will give final arbitration, and deliberation. The position is elected, from senior clergy within the church by a panel of high ranking members. The term of office is for life.
