- Fresh air, avoidance and isolation of infected persons.
Course
- Incubation
- 1-3 days
- Contagious
- Afflicted persons are contagious during the first ten days after symptoms appear.
- Symptoms
- Chest Pain, Cughing, Fever, Headaches, and Lethargy.
Treatment
- Cureability
- Possible. Although shortness of breath, or a rattling breathing may persist for years after an infection.
- General
- Rest, fluids, and fresh air.
- Medicinal
- Antibiotics expectorants, and pectoral medicines.
