- The seemingly endless salt-flats of the Northern Waejiran desert, are rumoured to contain the terrestrial embodiment of the Waejiran Goddess Silat. Crossing such terrain requires a lot of water, stamina, physical protection from the salt storms that occasionally spring up, and luck. Actually finding the ruins of Siladun, assuming they do exist, is a gamble. The flats are littered with the desiccated remains of many would be seekers. Given that Waejirans believe they return to Silat after death, one might suppose they get what they came for after all.
