- The false garke is not a garke at all, but another creature often mistaken for its more vicious namesake. Herbivores which behave in a much less aggressive manner.

- Appearance
- Their fur ranges in colour through browns and reddish shades with a lighter belly. Long necked and medium tailed, false garke move about on the bellies. They have vestigial legs barely noticeable without close inspection.

- The false garke is a herbivorous pack creature of the plains.
