A small face appeared, pushing out through the tear in his egg's leathery shell.
Blinking as he crawled forth, he scanned the brood chamber.
The tribe was butchered, scattered dead lay everywhere.
Observing the carnage he grinned; so much food, and no big brothers to stand in his way.
