- Old Mala has raised many cubs over her years and has known the Moonpetal Hinta her entire life. She adopted the Sildaryn band as her own when she entered menopause, and due to her health elected to travel with the hinta. She has a protecting and caring nature, and is trusted around the children of the hinta without any supervision.

- History
- Old Mala, as she is referred to by the children of the hinta, is a rather long lived Tomka. She has elected to travel with the Sildaryn year round, abandoning her territory to one of her last born daughters. Being nearly blind in both eyes due to age, she relies on the Sildaryn to help her hunt. In exchange, she watches over their children as though they were her own. Many of the young Sildaryn of the Hinta refer to her as their second mother.
