About

Näža Chapel is a small circular church built from local stone, and decorated with carved relief statues depicting various religious figures and animals.

Location

Näža, Karelëa, Kythus
The chapel is located near the center of the village of Näža, adjacent to the central common.

The church holds high and low masses on a regular basis as required by the faith.

History

The church was constructed in 256 YG using locally quarried stone. Due to the small size of the village, the chapel has not been expanded. The priests of the church live nearby in a small home.
