Appearance

Usage
- Dosage
- 1/2 oz administered orally.
Effects
- Ache wood syrup reduces the symptoms of nausea caused by indigestion, some diseases, or mild poisoning, when taken orally. Usually the effects last for 3-4 hours dependant on the severity of the symptoms, and other co-morbid factors.
Recipe
- Ingredients
- 2 parts Ache Wood inner bark
- Preparation
- Boil the mashed Ache Wood bark in 4parts water
- Allow to cool, skim the fatty oils from the liquids surface.
- Strain and reduce to a syrup consistency.
- Yield
- 1 part.
- Caution
- If not properly skimmed or strained, the preparation may cause softened stools, or diarrhea.
